The Long Beach City College Child Development Centers - PCC & LAC are licensed facilities that offer quality preschool classes and child care services from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday for children ages 2 through 5 (not yet in kindergarten).
Priority registration is given to students who need child care while they attend classes at either campus. Any vacancies not filled by students will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to LBCC faculty, staff and community. It is recommended that children attend a minimum of two days each week. Children may be enrolled for a maximum of 10 hours per day.

$25 Registration Fee (non-refundable, Fall/Spring sessions; $15.00 Registration Fee during Summer sessions, and a $20.00 activity fee. There is no discount on registration or tuition fees for additional children in the family.
Preschool Fees (Ages 2-5 years old) is $7.50 per hour/$30.00 per four-hour session. Sessions are from 7:30-11:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Extended care may be contracted at $3.00 per additional half-hour before 7:30 AM and after 3:30 PM. Full-time Rate is $185.00 per week. (Enrolled 9-10 hours Monday-Thursday and up to 4.5 hours on Friday)

Parent participation is required. Eight (8) hours per semester for children enrolled 2 days per week. 16 hours per semester for children enrolled 3-5 days per week.
